Our relationship with our Ancestors can ground us and give us strength to become healthier and more successful in all areas of life than where we come from. On the opposite side it can leave us feeling unsupported, isolated and unloved with feelings like we are always missing out on something.
One of the most important parts of my work is to help people not only explore the blocks and patterns in the family system, but to determine your place and your relationship to those in your system. Not only that but when we get to a point of healing and taking our place within our family system, we can then get about taking in the gifts and strengths that EVERY SINGLE system has to offer. Ancestral healing is a very important part of our health, wellness and success in life that is often overlooked.
Our relationship with our Ancestors and how we feel in regards to our place in the family system can determine a lot about how we perceive and experience the world around us.
Ask yourself these questions:
Do you feel you belong in the system that you came from?
Do you feel like an outsider?
Did your family system hurt you in some way?
Do you feel resentment towards your family system?
Do you feel safe within your family system?
Historically, did they protect or control others or both?
Whatever your answers are to these questions, know that these dynamics can play out in your day-to-day life. What has happened in the past is important, however how it has been carried through each different generation is what has the most impact. As you move through your Ancestral healing and free yourself from entanglements with the past and see the gifts, support, learning and blessings your Ancestors have to offer you, your life will change; you will feel stronger on a heart and soul level and you will have the courage, motivation, inspiration and strength to go for what you want in life and feel worthy of it.
